Evaluation Kits for the 4.7″ Display

The 4.7” Lectum display is part of the drivers only platform. The display on-board electronics contains the source and the gate drivers.

Therefore, the evaluation kits have to provide the EPD controller, the power management, and the system MCU.

The 4.7″ display can be operated by three main different evaluation kit systems:

  • MSP 430-based
  • Beaglebone-based
  • i.MX6-based

MSP430 – KIT

The MSP430-Kit comes as complete kit and runs out of the box using different components. It consists of a TI MSP430 microcontroller on a Parrot board, a Raven 1 board and a Helios 1 connector board.

The i.MX6-Kit comes as complete kit and runs out of the box using different components. It consists of a MCU board i.MX6SoloLite, a Hummingbird Z3.4 board, a wire and a Hermes 4 board. The MCU ARM Cortex-A9 is a system-on-chip (SoC) solution with the EPD controller integrated.
