The key attributes of Plastic Logic's technology mean that it will deliver customer solutions in many diverse markets. The initial target is active-matrix backplanes for high information content flexible displays. Additionally, a large range of future markets will also be served.

Led by Plastic Logic, the plastic electronics industry is making the transition from research to development by proving the value of the technology in meaningful applications. Plastic Logic will work with early partners in a number of key application areas to fabricate prototypes, demonstrators and field-trial samples that are representative of real world product concepts.

As well as demonstrating the application value of plastic electronics, Plastic Logic is helping to create an efficient supply chain through our process licensing business model. This will provide the infrastructure required to ramp-up volume to production of plastic electronic products.
