Richard Archuleta – CEO
Rich Archuleta is a proven technology business leader in Silicon Valley. As Senior VP and General Manager at Hewlett Packard, he led the HP Notebook PC business, the standard Intel Architecture Server business, and the Worldwide Volume Direct business. He led planning for the merger integration of the HP and Compaq PC businesses, and was Mobile Computing Magazine's "Mobile Industry Person of the Year." He is a patent holder, has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management.

Professor Henning Sirringhaus – Chief Scientist (co-founder)
Professor Sirringhaus is the Hitachi Professor of Electron Device Physics at Cambridge University. He has worked alongside Professor Richard Friend since 1997. He did post-doctoral research at Princeton and has a PhD from the Institute of Solid State Physics of ETH Zurich. He has over 70 publications and 20 patents/patent applications.



Konrad Herre – Vice President, Manufacturing
Konrad Herre has over 25 years of experience in research, development and production with large international microelectronic companies. His experience includes organizational management for the technology development and production, test and customer relationship operations of large-scale global facilities including positions on the Managing Board as COO of ZMD AG, President and COO of X-FAB Semiconductor Foundries, and Vice President of Production and Logistics for Fiber Optics with Infineon. He has a Diploma in Physics from Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany.

Frank Canova – Vice President, Product Engineering
Frank Canova has developed innovative consumer and enterprise communication products for over 20 years. He managed mobile products for IBM, including the ThinkPad laptop. He served as VP of Worldwide Product Engineering at Palm, and was named “Most Prolific Palm Inventor.” He also served as VP of Engineering and CTO with Reactrix, where he helped create interactive media systems, and as VP of Hardware Engineering at Smartpen innovator LiveScribe. He holds over 40 patents and has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.

Joseph Eschbach – Vice President, Marketing
Joe Eschbach has over 20 years of experience in consumer and enterprise technology marketing at Apple, Adobe, Microsoft and Astoria Software. As VP of the Adobe ePaper Division, he drove revenue growth for Acrobat and built partnerships with Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other publishers to establish the Adobe eBook business. He has a B.A. in Economics and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, a Diploma in Economics from Cambridge University, and an M.S. and PhD in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University.

Jean Lea – Vice President, Human Resources
Jean Lea has over 20 years of HR experience with Hewlett-Packard, Silicon Graphics and Syntex. As VP of HR for the HP Global Operations group, she led initiatives to improve business efficiency and created an award-winning recruiting program. She created a leadership development and change management program with the HP Notebook PC business, and led HR for over 1,000 employees in 18 global locations with the HP Open View Management Software business. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Irvine and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Raphaël Gernez – Vice President, Supply Chain
Raphaël Gernez brings 20 years of Operational Excellence experience in Consumer PC and Flat Panel TV businesses. He came from Circuit City where, as VP of Global Sourcing, he managed the Private Label business. Prior to Circuit City, he spent 19 years at Hewlett-Packard where he was General Manager of the HP Flat Panel TV global business unit. Previously, he held many senior positions in the HP Consumer PC group where he helped grow the business from inception to the #1 global market share leader.

Daren Benzi

Daren Benzi – Vice President, Business Development
Daren Benzi joins Plastic Logic as vice president of business development with extensive industry experience. He previously served as VP of sales development and strategy at DirecTV, and held senior business development, sales and strategy positions with News Corporation and The Walt Disney Company. He is also an attorney with FCC experience.

Rik Thorbecke

Rik Thorbecke – CFO
Mr. Thorbecke is a global finance executive with over 20 years of experience. Previously he was a Partner in the Technology practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers VP of Global Finance and Audit at Electronic Arts.  Most recently at Levi Strauss & Co. he reported directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and to the CFO, and carried several responsibilities including enterprise risk management, audit, indirect procurement, financial and strategic planning, quarterly board reporting and developing a worldwide finance transformation plan as part of a global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation program. He also led and supported various M&A and integration projects, worked with many venture capital backed companies and consulted clients in IPOs, SEC reporting, US GAAP, IFRS and SOX compliance. Rik is a California CPA, Dutch Registered Accountant and received a Post Graduate Degree in Accounting and Auditing as well as a MS/BS in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Martin Jackson Martin Jackson – Vice President, Technology, Cambridge Technology Center
Mr. Jackson has more than 20 years of executive and technical management experience in the communications and semiconductor industries. He was most recently CTO of Artimi and previously he was CTO at Frontier Silicon,  CTO of GlobespanVirata, which later merged into Conexant Corp.  Mr. Jackson has co-founded four start-ups, and serves on the Board of Directors for DisplayLink.  Martin holds a First-Class Honours degree with distinction in electronic engineering from Cambridge University.
