Open Positions for Shift Team:
Job purpose is to assess and ensure long term reliability of PL display end product
and cooperate with process and product development, process integration, process
engineering, FA lab, yield enhancement group and IT across all sites. The Senior
Reliability Engineer has responsibility for organisation of the reliability lab, for
reliability engineers and reliability lab technicians.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Strategic planning of reliability methodology, equipment and staff,
- Budget planning and lab representation to external and internal cooperation partners,
- Definition, Planning and Performance of reliability tests regarding split lot evaluation, reliability monitoring, acceleration factor determination, test conditions, test equipment characterization,
- Evaluation of test results based on own experiments and split lot experiments,
- Initiation of failure analysis for deeper understanding of failure mechanisms,
- Delivery of reliability test reports as feedback to interacting functions,
- Development of Product Screening strategy together with test engineering,
- Regular reporting of reliability base line status.
Competencies:
- Expert knowledge in semiconductor physics, reliability methodology and stress mechanisms as well on device level (transistors, dielectrics, metallisation) as on product level (electrical, thermal, climatic, mechanical and combined stress testing),
- Good knowledge of reliability models (activation energies, acceleration factors etc.) and statistical data analysis mathematics and tools,
- Knowledge of international standards for electrical and optical test and environmental stress tests of organic displays,
- Good IT skills,

Role Description:
Job purpose is to continuously reduce the defect density in the display production
line in Dresden.

- Provide defect detection solution and an effective inline scan strategy for a successful defect reduction,
- Recipe creation and optimisation,
- Analyze defect trends to determine the source of defect, shut down affected process tool in a timely manner,
- Initiate inline defect partition study for defect source and root cause analysis,
- Close collaboration with process, integration and equipment engineers for defect reduction and yield improvement,
- Work with vendors on inspection tool evaluation and upgrade to support technical needs,
- CD and Overlay measurements,

Inline Metrology Engineer (m/f)
Role Description:
Job purpose is to continuously monitor and improve the stability of the display
production line in Dresden with various inline metrology methods (e.g. ellipsometry,
four point probe, defect density,…).
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide inline metrology solutions for an effective monitoring of the production line,
- Analyze parameter trends to determine the source of excursions, shut down affected process tool in a timely manner,
- Close collaboration with process, integration and equipment engineers
- to improve the stability of the line and
- to support optimisation and development of new processes and tools,
- Work with vendors on metrology tool evaluation and upgrade to support technical needs,
- Evaluation of new metrology methods suitable for organic electronic,
- Training of engineers and technicians.

Equipment Engineer (m/f)
Role Description:
An Equipment Engineer plays a key role in the equipment engineering and maintenance of Plastic Logic’s brand new and partially customized. The role will also require involvement in equipment development and automation, as well as setting up and ramping up of production on the new tools. The focus of the Equipment Engineer is to guarantee the tool up-time in the Dresden manufacturing line. He will be expected to technically support the manufacturing team and also plan, execute and document maintenance, service and calibration activities as well as trouble shooting.
The position requires working in clean room area for significant time (75% on daily basis) of working hours. The Equipment Engineer reports to the Director of Manufacturing. The role will be based in Dresden. However occasional international business travel may also be required.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- To ensure up-time of wet coating equipments in the Dresden manufacturing line,
- To troubleshoot and repair state-of-the-art and customized equipment (electrical and mechanical components),
- To establish a close relationship with tool suppliers,
- To plan, coordinate and execute service, maintenance and calibration,
- To provide technical training of the relevant technicians,
- Working close together with the Test and Process Engineers in terms of test development, continuous improvements and adaption on further product requirements,
- To issue and realize equipment improvement program (cycle time, up time, total cost of ownership etc.),
- Support and do mechanical CAD.
Competencies:
- Degree (Dipl.-Ing. Elektrotechnik/Elektronik/Feinwerktechnik) and qualified with at least 5 years of experience in area of wet coating equipment used in electronics and semiconductor industries,
- Chemical backround required.
- Experience in equipment installation, ramp-up and continuous improvement in mass production environment,
- Expertise in troubleshooting and bug fixing up to component level on complex systems,
- The ability to analyze and solve equipment issues using standardized methods,
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels,
- Experience in 2D or 3D CAD system, AutoCad preferred,

Schichtleiter (m/f)
Wir suchen ab sofort Unterstützung im Produktionsbereich:
Aufgaben:
